This is my original female pastel dream purchased directly from Jeff Ronne (when he knew the difference from a pastel dream and a colorful Colombian, a big difference when you are trying to create beauty). She has darkened a bit as she has gotten older, going on 11 years old this year and has also darkened due to several pregnancies which does that to our girls. Any ways, she is the mother of the animal pictured for the pastel dream category of which that pastel dream is het for Sharp Albino and has also mothered some fantastic hypo pastel dreams. In this breeding, she is matched up with a male potential dominant hypo (orange tail imperator of course, they make the best combinations for color and cleanliness). I jokingly refer to this male as my spider boa with his aberrant spider ball like patterning and can't wait to prove him out either dominant or co-dominant on this giant of a female. He is a 5 foot animal and she makes him look like a little guy. The hypo pastel dreams I have produced using the orange tail hypo and this true co-dominant pastel dream line are works of art in their own right and the future combinations will be just that much better when these genes are incorporated in other projects. Pics as of 1/22/08, breeding since 12/07/07.
